The Irish Patriot Reconquista!

On my travels in Spain to meet fellow European patriots, I visited an ancient castle in Spain held by Muslim invaders for 600 years.

My Spanish hosts pointed out the parallels between the Spanish struggle for freedom and our own in Ireland. Centuries of rape, pillage and murder was brought to an end by bold catholic warriors, not career politicians.

We as Irish people owe a great deal of debt to these men of faith who, against all odds, stood against Muslim tyrants who very nearly swept Europe, risking their lives for freedom, not just for the Spanish people, but for the whole of Europe.

Was in COVADONGA (ggogle its history) Asturias in Sept. The start of the Reconqista in 719/22. Well done Niall.
